Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales for SmartOSC Japan! As Japan is one of our growing markets, we expect that the Head of Sales will possess the ability to build a strong localbased sales team capable in developing and executing sales strategies to focus on and win deals from big clients. Your role will range from growing strategic networks with potential partners/ customers, managing
the sales team, and fostering a culture of high performance and customer satisfaction. You will also collaborate closely with other departments to align sales objectives with overall business goals. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success in selling into large enterprises in Japan, sales leadership, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team to
achieve targets.      
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement effective business development strategies to expand the company's presence
in the Japanese market.
● Provide strategic direction, guidance, and support to Japan market’s sales team to achieve business
objectives.
● Close deals to meet /exceed the assigned Sales Targets
● Proactively build strategic networks/ relationships to identify new business opportunities (Networks
& Events)
● Present the company’s services and products professionally and manage client expectations, arbitrate
and solve customer’s objections
● Research on market trends and potential partnerships to drive growth
● Negotiate the terms of an agreement (including costs, delivery dates, scope of services) and closing
sales
● Manage customer data on CRM system


Requirements

– Essential:
● 5+ year experience in Sales (preferably B2B) with a proven track record in selling into large enterprises in
Japan
● 2+ year experience in leader/manager positions
● Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
● In-depth knowledge of the Japanese IT services market and industry trends
● Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business plans.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
● Willingness to travel
● Fluent in both Japanese and English
– Desirable:
● Background in digital, system integrator, technology, e-commerce, or related industries preferred.
● Experience working/living in cross culture, international environments
