Role Overview
As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for shaping and executing marketing strategies that elevate SmartOSC’s brand as a premium, high-end technology partner in global markets. Working closely with our CEO—an esteemed member of exclusive entrepreneur groups with an extensive network of C-level clients—you’ll leverage strategic insights to strengthen our brand positioning. You’ll lead a dynamic team, oversee high-impact campaigns, and drive initiatives that amplify SmartOSC’s visibility and reputation in the industry. This role requires a balance of creative vision, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to achieve impactful results.
Key Deliverables & Responsibilities
– Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies that align with SmartOSC’s business goals, brand vision, and market position.
– Brand Building Expertise: Proven track record of elevating brands to a premium, high-end status in competitive global markets, with an understanding of positioning strategies that resonate internationally.
– Campaign Management: Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency across all platforms, including digital, social media, content, events, and more.
– Content & Brand Development: Drive brand-building initiatives by creating and curating high-quality content that resonates with our audience and promotes brand consistency.
– Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute both internal and external events, including webinars, trade shows, industry conferences, and brand activations, to boost brand awareness and engagement.
– Public Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts, manage press releases, and create PR strategies to enhance SmartOSC’s public image and strengthen media presence.
– Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
– Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed on industry trends and identify opportunities for growth.
– Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across initiatives and tracking ROI on campaigns.
– Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with sales, product, and other teams to align marketing strategies with company objectives and facilitate effective cross-functional communication.
– Performing other duties as required.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Branding, Business, Communication, or a related field. A Master’s degree or additional certifications in digital marketing, brand strategy, or business management is a plus.
– Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the marketing industry, with at least 3 years in a senior role such as Marketing Director. Proven track record in leading successful marketing initiatives and managing high-impact projects across various channels and markets
– Hands-on experience in B2B marketing with a focus on international markets.
– Familiarity with the technology or e-commerce sectors is a significant advantage.
– Proficiency in Strategic Marketing Development
– Communicate effectively with all levels of management, boards of directors, and staff as well as external individuals and groups.
– Experience in leading, managing, and mentoring marketing teams. Ability to inspire and develop team members across functions (e.g., Event Management, SEO, Content, PR) to achieve strategic goals. Skilled at fostering a collaborative team environment and motivating team members to excel.
– Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English
– Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset, capable of measuring campaign performance, interpreting metrics, and optimizing strategies based on insights. Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and a focus on ROI-driven outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
– Communicate complex concepts through oral and written mediums.
– Event planning and management.
– Familiarity with the B2B sales cycle and how to employ marketing communications strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption and accelerate growth.
