Job Description

Location: ROX Tower, 54A Nguyen Chi Thanh, Dong Da District, Hanoi
● Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements in the banking domain.
● Ensure alignment with banking compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
● Perform end-to-end manual testing, including functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
● Validate critical banking functionalities such as transactions, payment processing, account management, and risk management systems.
● Identify, document, and report bugs using defect-tracking tools.
● Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
● Provide domain-specific insights to enhance testing coverage and accuracy in the banking context.
● Work closely with business analysts to understand banking workflows and processes.
● Act as a liaison between QA, development teams, and business stakeholders.
● Provide mentoring and guidance to junior testers to ensure best practices in manual testing.
● Maintain detailed and accurate testing documentation, including test results, defect logs, and status reports.
● Ensure compliance with documentation standards in the banking industry.


Requirements

● Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing, with at least 1 years focused on the banking domain.
● No English is required
● For level Team lead, having at least 1 year of experience of leading a team
● Proven experience testing banking applications such as core banking systems, digital banking platforms, or payment gateways.
● Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
● Strong understanding of SQL for database validation.
● Familiarity with APIs and ability to perform API testing manually.
● Solid understanding of banking processes, including compliance and security protocols (e.g., PCI DSS).
● Knowledge of financial products, transactions, and risk management is a plus.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
● Attention to detail and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
● ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
● Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
● Knowledge of automation tools is a plus
