Job Description
– Banking Security Compliance: Oversee the implementation of security protocols including SSL Pinning, RASP (Runtime Application Self-Protection), biometric authentication, and secure data-at-rest encryption.
– Code Governance: Establish and enforce coding standards, lead deep-dive architectural reviews, and manage the technical debt of a complex financial codebase.
– Performance Engineering: Optimize the interaction of native layers to ensure high-speed transactional performance and low-latency UI.
– Integration Oversight: Manage complex integrations with core banking backend, payment gateways, and third-party Fintech APIs.
– Technical Mentorship: Guide Junior/Middle engineers in solving complex platform-specific bugs and performance bottlenecks.
– Work closely with teams to ensure product quality and delivery timelines.
Requirements
– Experience working with Banking/Fintech projects.
– Native Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in native platforms (Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android) and the ability to review code in both.
– Security Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Top 10 and financial regulations (GDPR, PCI-DSS, or local banking standards).
– CI/CD & DevOps: Experience setting up automated pipelines for banking apps (Fastlane, Bitrise, or Jenkins) with automated security scanning.
– Ability to generate innovative ideas for applying AI in company workflows and products, along with leading and training team members on essential AI skills and knowledge.
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage timelines and ensure team output quality.
– Basic English communication – for meetings, reporting, and working with international partners.
Nice-to-have:
– Experience in setting up a standardized project base from scratch for a team, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
– Knowledge of or hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Fastlane) to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
– Proficiency in performance monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase Performance, New Relic) and debugging tools for mobile apps.
