Enterprise Architect (Banking)

Role Overview: We are looking for an accomplished Enterprise Architect with expertise in the banking domain to join our dynamic digital agency team. In this role, you will collaborate with large banking institutions, consulting directly with C-level stakeholders to design and implement innovative digital transformation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of both business and technical landscapes within the banking sector and exceptional communication skills to engage and influence executive-level decision-makers.

– Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives in large banks, translating business goals into strategic technology initiatives.

– Provide expert insights on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in banking and digital transformation.

– Design and deliver cutting-edge digital banking solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements.

– Lead the development of architecture frameworks for large-scale digital initiatives, including core banking modernization, digital payments, and omni-channel banking.

– Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, facilitating workshops and presentations to align vision and strategy.

– Lead technical discussions, presentations, and workshops with senior client stakeholders.

– Effectively communicate complex technical solutions in business terms to senior executives.

– Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging technologies to enhance client competitiveness in the digital banking space.

– Oversee the integration of cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, and other digital technologies into banking systems.

– Ensure alignment of solutions with industry standards and best practices.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.

– Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards.

– Stay updated with the latest banking technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.

– Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in client solutions.

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

– 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, including at least 8 years within the banking sector.

– Proven ability to consult and communicate effectively with C-level stakeholders in large organizations.

– Deep understanding of banking operations, including digital transformation, core banking systems, payments, and loan management.

– Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills tailored to executive audiences.

– Strong proficiency in designing and developing scalable banking or finance systems.

– Have professionally worked with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks;

– Have created solutions for financial services (especially banking);

– Proficiency in designing solutions using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

– Experience with Backbase, Thought Machine is a huge advantage

– Ability to generate innovative ideas for applying AI in company workflows and products, along with leading and training team members on essential AI skills and knowledge.
