Job Description

The Digital Solutions Architect will play a crucial role in expanding SmartOSC’s architecture and technology leadership and presence in the ANZ region. You will collaborate closely with Delivery and Sales teams to drive growth, working within a cross-functional environment. Your role will involve owning technical solution designs and guiding mid-market and enterprise clients in strategic technology decisions. Leveraging SmartOSC’s strengths in scalable digital talent, robust delivery practices, and an extensive partner network, you will ensure successful client outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

– Define and own end-to-end technical solution designs aligned with strategic business and architectural goals for clients in the ANZ region.
– Be hands-on in developing, integrating and auditing incumbent systems, developing demos/POCs, and supporting delivery teams in troubleshooting on range of technologies like e-Commerce, CMS, PIM, CRM, ERP and exploring new-age technologies
– Work with delivery teams to ensure best architecture and build practices are followed.
– Provide pre-sales support through solution design artifacts such as HLDs, LLDs, platform evaluations, Fit-Gap analysis, and validation of implementation estimates.
– Articulate and present technical solutions to both business and technical stakeholders.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders to influence decision-making.


Requirements

Required Skills:
– 10+ years of experience in designing and delivering custom or packaged application/ software solutions to enterprise clients.
– Strong experience with industry-standard architecture frameworks such as MACH, SOA, and Serverless.
– Hands-on experience with Cloud architecture – Infrastructure, Deployments, cross cloud integrations and PaaS and SaaS architectures on Azure / Google / AWS
– Hands-on experience with Integrating eCommerce, CMS, ERP, Supply Chain, CRM, Payment providers and custom applications
– Understanding and exposure to Customer Experience Enhancement Solutions like eCommerce, Content Management/Digital Experience, MarTech Platforms, Mobile, and Security.
– Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
– Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal teams and stakeholders.
– Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies/platforms.
– Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.

Desirable Skills:
– A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent
– Exposure to platforms like Adobe Suite (Commerce/AEM), MS Dynamics (CRM/ BC ERP/Power Platform), SaaS Commerce (BigCommerce/Shopify+), or similar mid-market/enterprise platforms, Hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, Google)
– Experience with offshore delivery.
