Senior General Accountant

Act as a General Accountant responsible for full-scope accounting activities, with a strong emphasis on Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and contract-related accounting for Vietnam and overseas subsidiaries (Singapore, Australia, Thailand, Korea, Japan, UAE). The role works closely with local English-speaking accounting/tax agencies to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across entities.

– Perform general accounting duties, including GL, review of journal entries, and month-end closing for assigned entities.

– Review accounting records and reports prepared by local accounting/tax agencies.

– Work with local accounting/tax agencies to ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

– Co-work with the Tax Manager and the Accounting Manager to support audit, tax review, and reporting for overseas subsidiaries

– Reviewing contracts with clients (mainly foreign clients): tax terms, billing milestones, payment terms, and collections.

– Manage and control across entities: aging, reconciliation, overdue tracking, and collection follow-up.

– Monitor AR by customer, entity, and currency; prepare AR aging, overdue, and collection status reports.

– Follow up with Sales and customers on overdue balances and payment plans.

– Support the Accounting Manager on ad-hoc accounting and reporting tasks.

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

– 3-5+ years of experience as a General Accountant, with strong exposure to AR and contract negotiation.

– Experience working with overseas subsidiaries and external accounting/tax agencies.

– IT services / software / project-based experience preferred.

– Strong Excel skills; experience with Google Workspace preferred.

– Good English skills.
