Job Description

We’re looking for a high-energy Marketing & PR Senior Executive to help drive brand visibility, elevate thought leadership, and support integrated campaigns across the APAC region. The ideal candidate has a strong PR agency background, excellent content creation skills, and is well-versed in B2B tech marketing. You’ll take the lead on public relations, social content, awards submissions, and SEO strategy—while actively supporting events and campaign execution.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is proactive, creative, detail-oriented, and thrives both independently and within a fast-moving team.
RESPONSIBILITY
Public Relations & Thought Leadership (Earned & Paid Media)
– Develop and execute PR plans aligned with business goals, campaigns, and events.
– Pitch and secure media placements in high-impact outlets (business, tech, BFSI, and retail verticals).
– Build strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media partners.
Draft press releases, contributed articles, and thought leadership content
– Track and report media coverage for internal stakeholders and marketing use.
– Identify and co-create content with industry associations and partners to amplify reach.
Awards & Industry Recognition
– Research and propose relevant awards aligned with our industry focus (tech, banking, retail).
– Lead the entire award submission process: content creation, stakeholder coordination, and results tracking.
– Integrate award wins into broader PR and marketing campaigns.
Content Marketing & Social Media
– Translate customer insights and industry trends into high-quality content (articles, posts, newsletters).
– Manage the company’s LinkedIn presence: plan, write, schedule, and monitor posts for engagement.
– Collaborate with designers to produce compelling visuals.
– Write and publish monthly newsletters targeting clients and leads.
– Track content performance and deliver regular reports with insights and optimizations.
SEO & Website Content
– Lead SEO strategy to drive visibility, traffic, and lead generation.
– Optimize blog and website content using best practices and target keywords.
– Monitor and report on organic performance metrics (traffic, rankings, bounce rate, conversions).

Event Marketing & Campaign Support
– Support the event team in identifying speakers, partners, and media for SmartOSC-led events.
– Write event-related content: invitations, brochures, landing pages, guest emails, and social promotion.
– Align all event communications with brand messaging and personas.
– Assist in post-event lead nurturing with tailored content flows and follow-up.


Requirements

– 3–6 years of experience, preferably in a PR or communications agency environment.
– Proven ability to manage PR, content, and social channels end-to-end.
– Strong content writing and storytelling skills – crisp, engaging, and B2B-savvy.
– Experience in SEO content strategy and website optimization.
– Hands-on exposure to events and campaign support.
– Prior experience in B2B tech, BFSI, or enterprise SaaS marketing is highly desirable.
– Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude, excellent time management, and team collaboration skills.
– Based in or familiar with the APAC region is a plus.
